The Artists Within Reach: Notes to my Younger Self is a FREE master class and workshop series that employs artists and cultural icons as speakers who utilize their own past narratives as a guidepost toward youth development. Project participants engage in real life-to-life dialogues and share similar growing experiences as a way of addressing and combating obstacles toward self-discovery and encourage mutual understanding.
Artists Within Reach: Notes to my Younger Self allows young

citizens (ages 12 – 21) to creatively articulate their thoughts regarding their place in a larger community that is currently working to redefine itself. Our goal is to strengthen experiences in creativity, learning, advocacy, and ethical thinking by providing a safe space that allows a voice for the ideas, and sentiments of our youth.
